There are so many ways to recharge your mobile. Mobile Service Providing companies finding innovative ways to provide recharge service. Let’s have a look at the various Mobile recharge options available.

1. Recharge Vouchers : This is in fact the most popular recharging option available. With each and every kirana shop, mobile stores, medical stores having subscribed for selling mobile currencies, you can always visit any near by shop & buy the recharge voucher. In this case you have to dial or SMS a specific number mentioned on the voucher  & provide the secret number on a scratch card. The limitation with this method is the availability of vouchers. Sometimes there will be irregularities in supply of vouchers. Also the amount is fixed. You can only choose the denominations available for recharge.

2. Easy Recharge : Mobile companies came with new idea where they provide a demo SIM for the recharging partners on payment of specific amount. With this amount they can recharge to the customers. No dialing numbers OR sending SMS. Just tell them your mobile number & the denomination, your mobile is recharged. One advantage is that you can recharge to any denomination of your wish. This is mainly useful for special recharges like STD Pack, SMS pack, Internet Pack, Night Unlimited Offer etc. Usually Mobile companies set aside a special denominations like Rs. 21, 43, 76 recharge for special offers so that the regular recharges don’t get disturbed. Major disadvantage here is that some dealers reverse the transaction after you left the shop. Though this case is very rare, but there is a possibility.

3. Online Recharging through Mobile Operator’s Site : Most of the Mobile Operators allow their customers to recharge through their websites itself. There are various payment options available like Credit / Debit Card, Online Banking, Cash Cards, Wallet etc. Here is the list of Official Websites of Mobile Service Providers to recharge online.

4. Recharging through Online Banking Website : Most of the Banks provide mobile recharge service to it’s Net banking Customers. If you have account with any bank & obtained Online Banking / Net Banking facility then you can recharge from your Net Banking site itself. Look for Mobile Recharge, Billers options. Banks like HDFC, ICICI, ING Vysya, SBI provide these service in their home page itself. Some of the banks also provide recharging mobile through ATMs & Mobile Banking.

5. Recharging from Third Party Sites : There are lot of third party sites that provide online mobile recharge service. If you have more than one company SIM, it will be convenient to use these third party sites to manage all you mobile recharge. These sites also provides option to save mobile numbers not only yours but also of your family members & friends. So that you can recharge any number any time. However there will be extra charges levied for recharges which is paid to the security & payment gateway solution providers like CCAvenue, Billdesk, mCheck, Visabillpay etc. Some Online Mobile recharge service providers also have option of wallet in order to reduce the extra service charge. Paytm.com : www.paytm.com : Provides simple interface & quick recharge without registration. Also offers Zero Service Fee, 24×7 Customer Support, Free Coupons & Instant refund as Paytm Cash. When you enter the mobile number it automatically shows the operator & available recharge denominations.

EasyMobileRecharge.com : www.easymobilerecharge.com : Payment through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, Easy Wallet available. Also shows special recharge denominations available.

Mobikwik.com : www.mobikwik.com : One of the early players in Online Mobile Recharge. Provides wallet system. Android App available for android based devices.

There are many more Online Mobile recharge service providers however I’ve not used any of them so I’m not able to comment on their service. http://www.ezrecharge.in & http://www.freecharge.in is worth a mention here.
